Kim Mauerhofer has had a particular interest in criminal law since the very start of her studies because it focuses on the individual.
After completing her judicial clerkship, as well as her attorney training in a law firm and at the public prosecutor's office (white-collar crime) Kim Mauerhofer worked as an attorney at the then Federal Office of Investigating Judges (federal level), before setting up her own practice in Zurich in 2011.
Kim Mauerhofer speaks German, English, French, Italian and Czech. She litigates in all German-speaking cantons. At the federal criminal level (Office of the Attorney General of Switzerland and Federal Criminal Court) and before the Federal Supreme Court, she conducts trials in German, as well as French, if the legal documents are accepted in German. If not, she will support her French-speaking colleagues in the background.

Kim Mauerhofer is the Swiss contact for whistleblowers with a connection to Switzerland through the international platform for the support of whistleblowers – The Signals Network. She also advises the persons concerned on an anonymous basis, prior to any potential whistleblowing and represents them in court if required.
